GENDER-RESPONSIVE PUBLIC FINANCE MANAGEMENT IN NEPAL

One of the primary approaches adopted by the Government of Nepal to integrate GESI in national and sectoral development frameworks and plans is Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB). It seeks to incorporate a gender equality perspective into the budgetary process to ensure an efficient allocation of resources based on the identified needs and to restructure revenues and expenditures to strengthen gender equality and empowerment of women.
